Summary: He uses quotes from people saying they’ve fired people for curing and things of that nature. He also talks about the leniency of the system.

- The poor effect of cursing is an untouched subject in The Catcher in The Rye and that is one of my topic that we haven’t discussed in class.

Main Idea #2: A man sued his company for firing him because he cursed.
Summary: A man was firing for frequent use of curse words and sued for one million euro but the court denied him the money.
Quote: The frequent use of foul and abusive language did not sanitize its effect."
Question: If you curse, what means would a company need to do to get the means to fire you.
Main Idea #3 The Considerate Constructors Scheme is a scheme in the UK aimed to improving the workplace’s image.
Summary: Over 3,500 offices in the UK signed up for this and due to some other legal changes, its working well.
Quote: "Employers can ensure professional language in the workplace by having a well drafted policy on bullying and harassment that emphasizes how bad language can potentially amount to harassment or bullying."
Question: Would this kind of system really be effective?

-This is a another article talking about the detrimental effects of cursing in the real world. Holden is offended when the f-word is written on the school and these people don’t want the use of this and other vulgar words to offended their employees.
